Experts at the Medical Cannabis Research and Innovation Center in Haifa, Israel, claim that the use of marijuana can cure the symptoms of people seriously ill with the corona virus.

Researchers have tried to treat patients with corona with cannabis used for medical purposes at Rem Beam Hospital.

Corona patients with life-threatening pneumonia can be treated with marijuana, the report said.

Preliminary research has shown that critically ill sufferers find some relief from marijuana use.

Dr. Eagle Loria Haven says that for the first time in Israel, different types of cannabis have helped in the treatment of corona during laboratory experiments. "We are examining the effects of marijuana on white blood cells," he said.

He said research was being done to determine how much cannabis affects the inflammatory process.

He added that marijuana helps coordinate cell networks and send a message to the immune system.
